Quadrupedic movements
Hey Kung Fu fam! I just found this video from my last visit at the Temple where I was doing some quadrupedic movements. I have been integrating this into my daily training for almost 6 months, and the results have been amazing, mobility, core strength and overall body control. It may look simple but crank up the intensity and it turns into a serious cardio workout too! 💪💪💪
I encourage you to give it a try. I move only in quadrupedic inside house now 😁😁😁
PS:I recommend to warm up well the wrists and shoulder before pushing for more intense quadrupedic training .

This is awesome, Yac. I really appreciate the post and the movements you shared. They align closely with the philosophy of Kung Fu. Thousands of years ago, the Shaolin monks drew upon their spiritual beliefs and the natural movements of animals to develop Kung Fu — not just as a martial art, but as a complete system for life.
Much of what you’ve written reflects the very principles that likely inspired them: health, mobility, strength, coordination — and the ability to apply all of that effectively in combat. Having that kind of advantage is powerful.
Keep it up, brother. Looking forward to seeing you this weekend.
